No server, no accounts, no tracking

Askew is a set of static files. Every tool runs in your browser. We don’t run analytics, cookies or ad scripts, and the fonts and libraries are served from this site — nothing is loaded from third-party CDNs.

What is stored, and where

Your forms, quizzes, saved signatures and kiosk responses are kept in your browser’s localStorage on this device only. Clearing site data deletes them. Use the JSON/CSV exports to back up.

Share links

A share link contains the whole form after the #. Browsers don’t send that part to web servers. With a password, the form is encrypted with AES-GCM (key derived with PBKDF2) before it goes into the link.

Responses

When someone submits a form, their answers are handed to their own email app (addressed to the form owner) or downloaded as a file. Askew never receives them. PDFs you sign are processed in memory and never uploaded.
